Kerry Cochrane is a lecturer in Management Communication and Program Leader of the Bachelor of Land Management (Ecological Agriculture) at the University of Sydney Orange campus. His interest in SLaM goes back to 1997 when he organised the inaugural SLaM conference (held in 1998) at the University of Western Sydney Hawkesbury. He then convened the second conference in 1999 at the same location. Kerry went on to become the Founding President of SLaM, a position he held until February 2004. Kerry also initiated the Journal of Spirituality Leadership and Management and served as editor from 2002 - 2004. Kerry was re-elected as SLaM President in February 2005 and in April 2006 passed on the Presidential baton to enable him to concentrate on the growing need to develop the SLaM education model and portfolio.
