Norman Currie developed an interest in SLaM after years in para-military services made him aware of the virtual uniform worn by everyone. He has been a member of SLaM for some 5 years, part as a Victorian Committee member. He is the current coordinator for the Knox SLaM Café. Norman is a Civil Celebrant (GradDipMonash), a former member of the Executive Committee of the World Conference of Religions for Peace, Australian Chapter, a member of the National Association for Loss and Grief and the Melbourne Poets Union. He is the Convenor for the Sacred Alliance and presents workshops on a philosophy known as Lifeye - "Transconceptual Pathways to Love." Both the Alliance and Lifeye seek to create awareness of the naked spirit of Life perceived and experienced before we put on our uniform for living.
