New Venue
The SLaM Cafes in Melbourne have long been the focal point for conversations of pragmatic application of a spiritual perspective to leadership and management, and now that conversation has found a permanent home.
Over the last few months the executive committee in Melbourne have continued to meet in order to keep the SLaM flame alive and dealing with the more mundane aspects of our current corporate structure (more on that at a later date). As you are aware there has been very little up-front activity. However, we are pleased to announce that we have now set in place firm SLaM@Work Café dates for the rest of the year and that a printed flyer is being produced.
We also felt that the Cafes needed a home, one that was conducive to the content and atmosphere that is generated in our inspirational Café events. So, for the remainder of 2007, and beyond, we will now have the pleasure of meeting at Abbotsford Convent, click here for details.
The Convent is fast becoming a hub for Well Being activities in Melbourne. It is set amongst some stunning gardens in the heart of Melbourne. One almost needs reminding that we are so near the city as the atmosphere and surroundings quickly whisk you away to more relaxed and peaceful state of being. This is certainly the intent and space we need to explore the stimulating topics and content of our SLaM@Work Cafes.
Why not reacquaint yourself with SLaM and the marvellous folks we all find share the same ideals and perspective.
