Details:

Satish Kumar is a compelling speaker. He is editor of the ecological living magazine, Resurgence, pioneer of the Human Scale Education movement and Program Director of Schumacher College, an international centre for the study of ecological studies and holistic education.

Satish also loves to laugh, has incredible humility, and is a marvelous storyteller. Perhaps his most famous story is the one about the pilgrimage he made in his twenties, inspired by the philosopher and peace campaigner, Bertrand Russell, to the four nuclear capitals - Moscow, Paris, London and Washington. The pilgrimage began in 1961 at the grave of Mahatma Gandhi and ended, two and a half years later at the grave of John F Kennedy.

We're certain you'll find him quietly inspiring.
