SLaM@work cafes includes presentation and encourages conversation.
Theory U is a 2008 book by Otto Scharmer. It presents a consciousness model of leadership that encourages organisations to become innovative, boost their performances and reconsider their structures. It particularly considers the many global and ethical imbalances in which our world currently finds itself and encourages new ways of approaching social change.
This presentation will cover some of the major theoretical bases of Theory U and will focus on developing an understanding of this work. The presentation will be geared towards practitioners who would like to apply some of these principles and processes in working with organisations. The presentation will include practice opportunities and conversations in which we will consider the possible applications of this work.
