Past SLaM@work Café - Melbourne June 16 2007 - How to use the Enneagram for success in the workplace. |
|
Getting to know me, getting to know you! One of the key indicators of an individuals shift in consciousness comes in the form of the "reflective turn"; when ones capacity for awareness expands to include not only the objective world of things and events "out there", but also the subjective world that includes the rich "inner landscape" of self and others. This is an essential capacity for the workplace, especially leaders. One way to facilitate the development to this capacity is through the use of typology assessments, and one of the most insightful and powerful is the Enneagram. Come join us as we learn about the work of The Enneagram with Debra Kotz and why she has found this to be a powerful tool for self-discovery and self-development in the workplace. |

 Past SLaM@work Cafe - Cairns April 28th 2007 "Freedom and Transformation" |
|
“Freedom and Transformation!” How often do people let their fears dominate the choices they make in life? Could it be that one of the debilitating effects of a fear ridden culture may be the thwarting of our ability to transform? From behind the self-induced bars of fear it is possible to glimpse vistas of freedom, choice and transformation. Come join us at the next Cairns SLaM@Work Community Café where Jani King, Doctor of Metaphysics will be talking about “Freedom and Transformation”. Jani will be exploring with us how fear keeps us locked into repeating old patterns and making fear based choices rather than having the freedom to choose expansion and living a life of fulfillment. |

Melbourne venue and 2007/8 dates for SLaM Cafes |
|
The new venue and set dates for the Melbourne SLaM cafes have proved to be a success with the first café for 2007 attracting a great group of participants. For several years now SLaM@Work Cafes in Melbourne have been in existence. To date they have been operating within the vibrant café scene. Now the organising committee has opted to move to a more tranquil and advantageous environment. We are able to control the noise levels and be more creative with the events. We hope you will join us in the stunning environment of the rejuvenated Abbotsford Convent. |

Join us in a very special festive season café as we explore the music of Johann Sebastian Bach as a metaphor and catalyst for cultural reformation. We will have the pleasure of a presentation from Stuart Campbell, an award wining composer, performer and educator. Stuart will perform some of his favourite and most poignant pieces of music from the Great Master Johann Sebastian Bach, and attempt to elucidate the innate (and, perhaps nefarious) power and secrets of Bach’s music that, Stuart postulates, can be of benefit to the community at large. |

In today’s world “Corporate Morality” has become an oxymoron, anything is excusable in the pursuit of revenue and profit targets. Most of us cannot stand apart from the reality and need to work, there are mouths to feed, bills to pay and dreams to fulfill, so how can we work and live inside this maelstrom and still maintain genuine integrity and live a happy fulfilling life. Come join us for a lively presentation and discussion |

'EGO RELEASE - Beyond Our False Identity' "Ego is our mistaken identity. It is the part of us that actively and unconsciously creates havoc, loss and sabotage in our lives.
